DELTAVINIL C

Deltacolor has developed a specific range of PVC-based masterbatches designed to cover the technical colour needs for different applications in the energy, data, telecom and automotive cable industries.
Deltacolor also has a range of masterbatches containing a special selection of pigments, which guarantee optimal pigment dilution and proper colouring of PVC-based, flame retardant compounds.
Technical Characteristics
- Colour: for the cable industry colours are matched to RAL 840HR, IEC, BS 6746C or MUNSELL. Maximum colour deviation from the internal Deltacolor standard is ΔE 1.5 Deltacolor has special ranges for the automotive sector, with colours matched to RAL 840 HR, AFNOR, BS, J-1128 and MUNSELL. Deltacolor can develop any special colour by customer request, the minimum order being 25 kg.
- Dose: typically between 1.0% to 3.0%, depending on the base compound; in some cases less than 1% can be used.
- Lightfastness: the light resistance test was conducted according to DIN 54003 blue scale (1 = very low : 8 = very high).
- Heat resistance: the pigments used in the production of all Deltacolor masterbatches have been selected to be process-temperature resistant. This parameter is shown on the technical data sheet for every masterbatch.
- Volumetric Resistivity: all DELTAVINIL C masterbatches for the cable industry have been developed to minimise the change on the dielectric properties of the PVC base compound. This value is higher than 10E+14, when 1% masterbatch is dosed into a 30*10E+14 base compound.
- Packaging: PE sacks with 25 kg palletised to 1.000 kg net weight. Special packing configurations are available under request.
