DELTAPLAST PE
Deltacolor has developed a specific range of PE-based masterbatches designed for the manufacture of crosslinked cable, avoiding the sauna process and saving time and process costs (for example: PE Visico™/Ambicat™ from Borealis).
Technical Characteristics
- Colour: matched to RAL 840HR. The maximum deviation from our standard colours being ΔE 1.5. Deltacolor can develop any special colour by customer request, the minimum order being 25 kg.
- Dose: typically from 1.0% to 2.0%, for the R masterbatches. There is a 1/R type, with dose ranging from 0.5%-1.0%.
- Lightfastness: the light resistance test was conducted according to DIN 54003 blue scale (1 = very low : 8 = very high).
- Heat resistance: all the pigments used in the production of Deltacolor masterbatches have been selected to be process-temperature resistant. This parameter is shown on the technical data sheet for every masterbatch.
- Packaging: PE sacks with 25 kg palletised to 1.000 kg net weight. Special packing configurations are available under request.
