DELTAPLAST PB

Deltacolor has developed two specific ranges of PBT-based masterbatches for the coloration of loose tubes for fiberoptic cables: the standard range, used for the colouring of opaque or whitish PBT base resin; and the Special range, used for the colouring of transparent PBT-base resin. These masterbatches includes the letter U at the end of the product nomenclature.

Technical Characteristics

• Colour: matched to MUNSELL. The maximum deviation from our standard colours is E 1.5. Deltacolor can develop any special colour by customer request, the minimum order being 25 kg.
• Dose: typically from 1.0% to 2.0%, depending on the PBT base used.
• Light fastness: the light resistance test was conducted according to DIN 54003 blue scale (1 = very low : 8 = very high).
• Heat resistance: all the pigments used in the production of Deltacolor masterbatches have been selected to be process-temperature resistant. On the technical data sheet this parameter is shown for every masterbatch.
• Packaging: PE sacks with 25 kg palletised to 1.000 kg net weight. Special packing configurations are available under request.
